| Welcome to Grannie Fannie's
- Downtown Newnan's newest addition to the antique block,
located at 15 Greenville Street. We're a group of local
collectors with years of combined experience in restoring
and preserving family heirloom furniture and
collectibles--much gathered from estate sales of prominent
local families. "We love it all, but we can't keep it all."
Together we offer an eclectic mix of period pieces and
styles, polished and unpolished, something for everyone's
taste--primitive, Victorian, vintage, craftsman, retro,
cottage and shabby chic--including decor, glassware,
pottery, enamelware, china, crystal, handmade gifts, and
works by local artists. Who are we? Grannie's partners are longtime friends and retired fellow Special Educators Carol Jackson Glover and June Taylor Hocum of Homespun Heart fame, along with her husband Manfred Benesch, local artist and chef. Associates are friends Susan Hyde, also fellow retired Special Educator, and Brenda Mitchell, Executive Director, Savannah Court Assisted Living Community. We are excited to have a place to spend time with both the people and the things we love so much. We want to be your full service resource. In addition to our array of fine old furniture and collectibles at reasonable prices, we can provide wood furniture repair, restoration, refinishing, or painting, and also custom decorative furniture and sign painting, as well as lamp repair. Layaway, pick-up and delivery services are available. If we don't have what you're looking for, enter your request in our Wish List and we'd love to help you find it. If you are in a real hurry you may want to check out these other fine dealers. Drop by and browse our extensive collection. Or if you'd rather, join us in a rocking chair and catch up with friends or grab a magazine and rest your weary self - either way we'd love to see you.
